This mini-unit consists of a lovely poster of Rachel Field's poem, Something Told the Wild Geese; a short bio of Field for displaying with the poem, and a creative art project of flying geese that kids right up to grade 6 love to make and will make you feel like those geese are flying right overhead in your classroom! Tip: Enlarging the poem to 11"x17" size would look better as a display.
Note: This poem has also been set to music and you can choose to hear it from many different renditions offered on YouTube.
